Job description

  • Bachelor's Degree with Verifiable minimum of 5 years work experience in the Health Care Field, Medical assistant or related experience and or Registered Nurse preferred but not required.
  • Utilize Indiana's standards in the Health and Human Services Pathway for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to teach juniors and seniors in a classroom and lab setting.
  • Teach Principles of Healthcare, Healthcare Fundamentals, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant(CCMA)and Healthcare Specialist Capstone.
  • Use computer software to support classroom and school reporting requirements.
  • Work with students and Work Based Learning Coordinator to secure clinical experiences for students.
  • Demonstrate effective communications and work effectively in a team oriented environment
  • Create daily lesson plans
  • Supervise and assess students
  • CCMA Certification required (can be obtained soon after hire), Additional Healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability and desire to attain a Workplace Specialist teaching license
