Job description
Are you looking for an opportunity to grow? We are growing as a firm and expanding our team.
We are a CPA firm in Lynnwood and are seeking a fulltime Staff CPA. We offer opportunities for advancement, competitive compensation, and a team atmosphere. While we dedicate many hours to tax season we also offer paid vacation for overtime worked during tax season plus a standard three weeks of paid time off. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing income, payroll, and state tax returns, researching laws and regulations, providing assistance during audits, responding to notices from tax authorities, payroll processing and other Tax Accountant duties as assigned. Candidate should be prepared to work 60 hours a week from January through April 15.
Primary duties include
  • Preparation of complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts
  • Review and compilation engagements
  • Payroll processing and payroll tax reporting
  • Consulting clients on accounting matters including QuickBooks and bookkeeping
Knowledge and Skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivating and ability to work efficiently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA License or CPA exam scheduled
We are looking for an honest and dependable professional with 0-10 years of experience in Public accounting. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. You will be working with a diverse group of clients in various industries and will build relationships with clients. You will be joining a team of experienced CPA’s.
