SPS Global is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Route Driver/Courier Floater to support on-site client operations in Santa Clara, California. This role is responsible for safe, accurate, and timely delivery of mail and parcels across campus locations while maintaining strict chain-of-custody standards and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-focused, and capable of working independently while representing SPS with professionalism. In addition to courier responsibilities, this role provides flexible support to front- and back-office functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Overview
The Route Driver/Courier Floater provides exceptional courier services by receiving dispatch instructions, retrieving mail and parcels from designated offices, and delivering items safely and efficiently.
This role also serves as a cross-trained team member who may provide backup coverage for office services operations as needed to maintain continuity of service.

Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership
What You'll DoCourier & Route Operations
Travel a predefined courier route via company vehicle to deliver mail and parcels
Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries by accurately following maps and written instructions
Maintain detailed logs and time stamps for all items received and delivered
Support chain-of-custody requirements in accordance with operating procedures
Respond to client requests accurately and ensure timely order fulfillment
Complete all required paperwork in a timely, accurate, and legible manner
Safety & Vehicle Responsibility
Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with state and company standards
Follow company protocol in the event of an accident and/or injury
Maintain vehicle condition through routine servicing (oil changes, tire rotation, fluid checks, refueling)
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and readiness for daily operation
Operational & Client Service Excellence
Deliver 5-star customer service in all forms of communication
Follow Operational Service Excellence performance standards
Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams
Maintain professionalism and composure when handling sensitive inquiries
Determine when additional support is required for complex requests
Proactively seek additional work during downtime
Cross-Functional Office Support
Provide front- or back-office coverage as needed
Assist with shipping and receiving procedures
Validate packing slips for accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials
Train backup personnel and provide guidance on policies and procedures
What We're Looking ForRequired
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely operate a company motor vehicle
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn required systems
Professional appearance and adherence to company policies
Preferred
2+ years of related work experience
Working knowledge of MFD equipment
Experience with shipping and receiving procedures
Familiarity with validating packing slips and handling materials accurately
