As a Business Development Manager, you'll serve as the strategic lead for the Target and Costco businesses, translating shopper, category, and digital insights into actionable growth opportunities. You will partner closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to shape customer strategies, support key selling engagements, and influence decision-making. This role plays a visible part in supporting Target customer interactions while also driving behind-the-scenes strategy for Costco in a highly structured, limited-SKU environment. Additionally, you'll lead and develop analytical resources, ensuring insights are prioritized, actionable, and aligned to business goals. Success in this role is defined by driving digital growth, expanding assortment opportunities, and elevating overall strategic impact.
  • Lead development of customer-focused strategies for Target and Costco, translating insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Partner with Account Managers to support line reviews, customer meetings, and overall selling strategy
  • Drive digital growth strategy for Target, leveraging shopper and eCommerce insights to improve performance
  • Own assortment strategy for Costco, including identifying and advancing new SKU opportunities
  • Guide analysts on priorities, data sources, and outputs to ensure insights are relevant and impactful
  • Coach and develop analytical talent to improve efficiency, storytelling, and quality of insights
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Shopper Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive execution

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, eCommerce, digital category development, business analytics, or marketing

The approximate yearly pay range for this position is $80,000 - $175,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
