Job description

Dietary Cook/Aide – Full Time

Location: River Bend Nursing & Rehabilitation – Evansville, IN
Rate: $16/hour (based on experience)

River Bend Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Cook/Aide to join our skilled nursing team in Evansville, IN. You’ll play an important role in supporting residents’ health and well-being by assisting with meal preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness.

Schedule
  • Full-time

  • Shifts: Day and/or evening shifts during the week and every other weekend

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals on schedule and in accordance with dietary guidelines.

  • Support the cook with food prep and portioning.

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, refrigerators, and equipment.

  • Deliver meal trays and ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Prior food service or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
