Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant for a long-term contract opportunity in Los Gatos, CA. This part-time administrative role is ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of office support experience who enjoys keeping daily operations running smoothly, supporting teams, and creating a professional, welcoming environment for visitors and employees.
The Office Assistant will provide hands-on administrative, front office, scheduling, facilities, and coordination support. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a collaborative office setting with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, and exposure to a variety of business operations. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoy helping people stay organized, this position offers a strong fit with a balanced part-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, direct office visits, answer phone calls, manage emails and voicemails, and provide professional front office support.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, events, catering, dinner reservations, interviews, holidays, travel, hotels, flights, cars, and related logistics.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, mail distribution, document scanning, records, files, and general administrative documentation.
- Support employee onboarding logistics by assigning office cubicles and coordinating equipment such as laptops, monitors, and related workspace needs.
- Create, order, and ship business cards for local and overseas employees.
- Communicate with property management, janitorial teams, electricians, HVAC vendors, contractors, and other service providers for office projects and facilities needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $21 to $22 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 4 hours per day.
- Location: Los Gatos, CA.
