Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our team and support individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, encouragement, and resources to help participants achieve and maintain their recovery goals. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a deep understanding of the recovery process, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Job Description:
  • Provide peer recovery coaching through outreach, one-on-one support, and peer support groups.
  • Maintain accurate participant records and documentation.
  • Connect clients with recovery resources, educational materials, and community services.
  • Support coordination with recovery agencies and assist clients and families in community settings such as libraries, community centers, and churches to access supportive services and resources.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or experience equivalency.
  • Experience in providing or facilitating services to persons in recovery is preferred.
  • Persons in recovery must meet one (1) year sobriety requirement.
  • Current Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are required.
  • Capacity to travel within the service region for service delivery and across the state for training as needed.
