Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support a sterile compounding pharmacy in Omaha. This is a unique opportunity to join a closed-door pharmacy, focused on building and scaling in-house medication production. They are currently in the development and testing phase of their formulary, working with new compounding equipment to create medications such as peptides, dissolvable sexual health tablets, and potentially GLP-1s. The only controlled substance currently produced is testosterone. While not yet distributing at scale, they are actively compounding, testing, and preparing for full production and shipment. The team consists of 1 PIC, 4 pharmacy technicians, and 1 admin, with plans to grow. This hire will play a key role in daily compounding operations and if interested can step into a PIC role long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sterile compounding and preparation of medications
• Review prescriptions and ensure accuracy/compliance
• Maintain adherence to USP 795 and compounding regulations
• Support inventory management and documentation
• Assist with pharmacy operations as production ramps up


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license
• 1+ years of experience working as a compounding pharmacist
• Strong understanding of USP guidelines and sterile compounding regulations
• Strong knowledge of product preparation, compounding, packaging and labeling, etc.
