Job description

Job Overview
The Commission Analyst role supports commission operations by ensuring accurate and timely commission payouts through day-to-day operational support and issue resolution. It focuses on researching commission-related inquiries, applying problem-solving skills to identify root causes, and supporting process improvements. The role emphasizes strong communication and collaboration, partnering with frontline and internal teams, including systems, testing, reporting, and compensation design, to resolve issues and share insights. It also requires curiosity and an analytical mindset to explore data, identify trends, and build a deeper understanding of commission processes.
Success is measured by payout accuracy, timely and clear issue resolution, and the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements that support reliable and transparent commission operations
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and report on various commission-related reports to meet operational management needs
  • Conduct operational assessments to identify risks and gaps, proposing systematic solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution and completion
  • Provide subject matter expertise and analytical support for commission-related projects and initiatives
  • Analyze commission processes and support day-to-day commission operations, with a primary focus on researching and resolving commission-related inquiries, identifying improvements, and ensuring accurate commission payouts
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 2-4 years Commissions or Operations experience. (Preferred)
  • Operational or Commissions experience. (Preferred)
  • Wireless Telecom experience. (Preferred)
  • Retail field experience. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $59,900 - $108,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
