RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Draper, UT is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instructional Designer & Facilitator to lead the design and delivery of innovative workshops focused on workflow redesign in an AI-enabled environment.
Summary:
This role is ideal for a systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity, works with speed and agility, and excels at helping leaders rethink how work gets done. The successful candidate will partner closely with HR Business Partners, AI subject matter experts, engineering teams, and senior business leaders to create engaging workshop experiences that drive tangible business outcomes.
While instructional design expertise is important, exceptional facilitation skills are critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate can confidently guide discussions with audiences ranging from managers to senior executives and help participants produce actionable deliverables during workshop sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Design & Development:
* Design and develop end-to-end workshop experiences focused on workflow redesign and AI integration
* Partner with business leaders, HR partners, and AI subject matter experts to shape workshop content and outcomes
* Apply systems-thinking principles to help participants identify process interdependencies, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities
* Create engaging, practical learning experiences that encourage leaders to challenge assumptions and rethink existing workflows
Design interactive activities such as:
* Workflow mapping exercises
* Guided reflection sessions
* Process diagnostics
* Peer feedback and collaboration activities
* Utilize a rapid iteration approach to workshop development, incorporating feedback and continuous improvement throughout the design process
* Translate complex technical and operational concepts into practical, leader-friendly content
Facilitation & Workshop Leadership:
* Facilitate highly interactive virtual workshops via Microsoft Teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, organizational development, or related disciplines
* Demonstrated success facilitating workshops for leadership audiences
* Strong facilitation skills with the ability to create engaging, high-energy, outcome-driven sessions
* Experience designing and delivering workshops that produce tangible outputs and business deliverables
* Strong understanding of workflow, process, or operational redesign
* Experience working with technical organizations, including engineering, product, software development, or technology teams
* Ability to partner effectively with subject matter experts and translate technical concepts into business-focused learning experiences
* Strong systems-thinking mindset
* Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and adapting quickly to changing priorities
* Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience designing and facilitating workshops for senior leaders, directors, VPs, and executive-level stakeholders
* Experience with workflow visualization and process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio
* Familiarity with AI technologies and business applications of AI, including Microsoft Copilot or similar tools
* Experience helping organizations redesign workflows and operating models in response to emerging technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
