STRUCTURAL ENGINEER 3

Position Overview: This position will perform structural design, analysis, and detailing for various industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and other structures as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide input for departmental and project reports.
  • Coordinate drafting structural designs utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and other software,
  • Prepare materials to establish project cost estimates, check structural calculations and drawings completed by others
  • Provide management and coordination for projects.

Qualifications:

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Licensing

  • A minimum of 10 years of relative engineering experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structures.
  • PE or SE required.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, RISA 3D, and MS Office.
  • Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
  • Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
  • A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
