Salary range (but not limited to):

69,200 - 84,600

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

Nous sommes a la recherche un(e) expert.e en sinistre interne - Responsabilite Civile pour notre equipe grandissante!

A titre d'expert.e en sinistre interne en responsabilite civile, vous devrez assister le client au telephone dans le cadre de sa reclamation en responsabilite civile majoritairement dans des dossiers de dommages materiels de tout genre (pour ne nommer que des exemples, dans des dossiers de collision impliquant des vehicules de deneigement, des degats d'eau, des travaux d'entrepreneurs, des contrats d'entreposages) et dont le potentiel est en moyenne de 50000$ et moins.

Vous serez egalement appele a contribuer dans d'autres types de dossiers de responsabilite civile au besoin. Vous devrez guider l'assure dans les diverses etapes de sa reclamation: analyser la recevabilite de la reclamation, completer l'enquete pour determiner la responsabilite potentielle de l'assure et/ou des tiers, evaluer les dommages reclames et negocier, le cas echeant, un reglement avec le tiers.

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Etre a l'ecoute du client, expliquer clairement le parcours qu'entreprendra la reclamation, repondre a ses questions et livrer un service qui depasse ses attentes.

  • Analyser les garanties d'assurance du client et lui expliquer clairement quelles sont ses protections en lien avec la reclamation presentee.

  • Recueillir les versions des faits sur les circonstances du sinistre aupres des assures, des tierces parties et d'autres intervenants.

  • Evaluer la responsabilite potentielle de l'assure et/ou de tierce partie en appuyant son raisonnement sur des elements d'enquete pertinent et bien etaye.

  • Evaluer le caractere raisonnable et la recevabilite des dommages reclames a l'assure.

  • Communiquer efficacement avec le client pour l'informer des developpements.

  • Bien annoter et documenter son dossier en respectant les normes et directives de l'entreprise.

  • Negocier efficacement, si opportun, les reclamations avec les tiers.

  • Assurer une saine gestion des frais et des couts externes.

  • Collaborer activement avec les divers services tel que l'assignation, le recouvrement, la souscription, l'estimation, etc.

  • Participer aux catastrophes lorsqu'elles se presentent.

Ce que vous mettrez a profit :

  • Detenir un certificat d'expert en sinistre 5A.

  • Detenir un diplome collegial et/ou formation equivalente et/ou jugee pertinente.

  • Experience d'expert en sinistre (6 mois a 1 an) ayant touche a quelques dossiers de responsabilite civile (un atout).

  • Bilinguisme (francais / anglais) - Necessite de traiter des dossiers de reclamations d'une clientele anglophone sur une base reguliere.

  • Etre oriente vers le client.

  • Etre bien a l'aise de gerer du volume.

  • Apprendre rapidement.

  • Communiquer efficacement et simplifier le parcours de la reclamation pour le client.

  • Sens de l'analyse et de la synthese.
