Product Manager, Platform (Fully Remote)

About the Opportunity

A fast-growing technology company in the tax and financial data space is seeking a Product Manager, Platform to help scale the shared infrastructure powering a suite of enterprise software products. The organization specializes in workflow automation, data standardization, and AI-enabled processing solutions for financial and tax-related operations.

This role is ideal for a technically fluent product manager who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, infrastructure, security, and product strategy. You will help define and evolve the foundational platform services that support multiple SaaS products and enterprise integrations.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with significant ownership and visibility across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve the shared platform infrastructure that supports multiple SaaS products
  • Drive platform strategy for APIs, integrations, authentication, data services, and cloud infrastructure
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and DevOps teams to improve scalability, reliability, and developer efficiency
  • Lead integration initiatives with third-party enterprise software platforms
  • Define clear requirements, technical specifications, and platform standards
  • Help shape data governance, security, and compliance best practices across the platform
  • Evaluate new technologies and guide build-vs-buy infrastructure decisions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • At least 2 years working on platform, infrastructure, developer tools, or shared services products

  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, authentication models, and data pipelines

  • Experience building internal platforms or shared services used across multiple teams

  • Proven ability to manage technical debt and balance strategic vs tactical infrastructure investments

  • Excellent written communication skills, including experience creating PRDs and technical specifications

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Engineering, Product, Security, and DevOps

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and container orchestration technologies

  • Familiarity with compliance-driven environments such as SOC 2 or regulated data systems

  • Experience with enterprise integrations or connector ecosystems

  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, document processing systems, or model operations

  • Background in financial technology, tax technology, or enterprise SaaS platforms is a plus
