Work Schedule

$18.00 - $20.25 Hourly

About this Position

This position will collaborate with research faculty, staff, and community partners to coordinate and support the longitudinal research project, the HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) Study.

This position will participate in executing the standardized research protocols for HBCD, monitor quality control for EEG and Biospecimen, including overseeing measurement and assessment tools, and supervise research visits with a team of graduate students, research assistants, and volunteers. 

Duties also include providing expertise as it applies to research methods, managing internal communications with research team, supporting clinical alerts during research visits with vulnerable families, and being knowledgeable and capable to handle emergency or crisis situations during visits.

Some evenings and  weekends are required, more specifically, two evening shifts per week are required plus a monthly weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience
    • degree in health, agriculture, or related field
  • Two-Three years or more experience implementing human subjects research with a focus on families with young children.

Travel

  • This position requires traveling in the Tulsa area to briefly meet participants for data hand-offs. 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of public health, family dynamics, infant and maternal health, organizing skills
  • Ability to work with large and small teams
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to coordinate multiple aspeects of a study and keep track of program activities and progress
  • Cultural humility and sensitivity in working with diverse populations
  • Ability to listen and receive and provide constructive feedback
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's
    • Psychology, Cognitive Science, Education, or related field.
