Job Description Summary:

AtTheCoca-Cola Company,you'll be working in aninclusive environment thatisrefreshing the world.The Blending II - Blending/Mixing Operatorperforms a variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant. We utilize state of the art quality systems and have guidelines in place to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.The position requiresprior production or blending experiencefor individuals with aneyefordetails and takespride in the quality of their work.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Perform blending activities that convert raw materials into finished products.
  • Batching activities will include equipment set up, clean-ups, drum handling, drum dumping and maintenance, and other operational duties.
  • UtilizesGood Manufacturing Practice (GMP), which requiresclean, sweep, mop, and scrub production area equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings as required.
  • Visually inspects all incoming materials and report non-conformances and visually inspects finished goods, making minor corrections and reporting all non-conformances.
  • Performs all essential job functions affecting quality according to the quality system proceduresandwork instructions.
  • Runs multiple pieces of equipment, including high shear tanks, fluidor choppers, tote loaders and conveyor equipment; perform line inspections, perform multiple tasks on drum dumping line, perform all required quality checks and accurately complete required documentation.
  • Properly and consistently run all blending equipment and occasionally provide relief for other operators, as assigned.
  • Adheres to all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
  • Monitor'scomputer terminals and OIT screens.
  • Forklift certification

Qualification & Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must have priorexperienceas a Production Operator.
  • Good math andcommunication skills areessential.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English isrequired.
  • Must be experienced in or able to learn operator controlpanels.
  • Prior knowledge or ability to run automated blending equipment isneeded.
  • Must possess a mechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up andshutdown, understanding machinery and conveyorcontrols.
  • Must be able to identify line problems, non-conforming product, and employ correctiveactions.
  • The ability to do repetitive stooping,liftingto 50 pounds, bending, and standing while operating equipment isrequired.
  • Must have a valid forklift license and be able to operate a forklift safely andefficiently.
  • Must be able to work 12hourshiftwith unpaid lunch and will includeovertime.
