ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operates basic machine shop equipment to saw, cut, drill, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend or straighten aluminum and steel material to produce production and non-production (repair) parts to required tolerances.
REQUIREMENTS
โ€ขEnsures that all safety devices are in place and operational
โ€ขVerifies that materials required by the work order are available and correct
โ€ขPerforms first piece inspection to verify compliance with blueprint specifications and performs intermediate inspection of parts to assure that material stays within tolerances specified for the run.
โ€ขCompletes all operations specified on work order within the time standards listed.
โ€ขMaintains cleanliness and orderliness of work area
โ€ขSupports and participates in Morgan Olsonโ€™s PPS team efforts.
โ€ขAdheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
โ€ขAdheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
โ€ขAble to bend, stoop, twist, stand, walk, lift overhead and lift up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ขHigh School graduate of equivalent plus 1 to 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
โ€ขAbility to read blueprints, tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
