CNC Field Service Technician
(Travel Role Company Support Provided)
Based Near Pekin, IL (Travel Required)
$35-$55/hr. + Overtime + Travel Perks

Be the Expert Customers Rely On
If you're the person who can walk into a shop, diagnose a CNC issue, and get the machine back up and running, you'll thrive in this role.
This is a hands-on field service position where you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines at customer sites. Every day is different, and your skills directly impact production.
What Travel Looks Like
  • Local and regional travel to customer sites
  • Some overnight travel (varies by workload)
  • Company support for travel expenses
What You'll Be Doing
  • Travel to customer sites to service CNC machines
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
  • Diagnose and repair machine faults quickly and efficiently
  • Perform machine installs, setups, and calibrations
  • Work with CNC controls and identify system issues
  • Read schematics, prints, and manuals to solve problems
  • Train customers on basic machine operation and maintenance
  • Document service work and communicate findings
What You'll Work On

Requirements
What You Need
  • 3-5+ years of CNC machine repair, maintenance, or service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical + electrical)

  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Strong communication skills with customers
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Bonus If You Have:
  • CNC field service experience
  • Controls/PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Experience installing or commissioning machines
