Job description

Civil Engineer (EIT) – 3–5 Years Experience

Location: Tampa, FL

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 3–5 years of experience to support the planning, design, and execution of land development and/or public infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with project managers and senior engineers on a variety of site development, drainage, and utility design efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout
  • Develop construction documents, specifications, and technical reports
  • Perform site investigations, data collection, and engineering analysis
  • Support permitting efforts and coordinate with local agencies
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for design and modeling
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project deadlines
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to overall project delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience (land development, transportation, or water/wastewater preferred)
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or in progress
