3rd Shifts- Bldg LL - East Peoria- Supplemental
Pay is $23.22
What You'll Do
Upon completion of the training program, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up, operating, and adjusting heat-treat equipment
  • Performing neutral atmosphere heat treating ,cycle annealing, and die quenching of clutch plates
  • Monitoring equipment performance to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Following established manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Ability to work in environments with frequently changing temperatures, including extreme conditions
  • Frequent walking, bending, and reaching
  • Occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing
  • Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and handling of rotating equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum 8-hour shifts)

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or previous work/volunteer experience
  • Understanding of gas safety and temperature parameters
  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous heat treat experience
  • Prior machine shop experience
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Previous experience with overhead cranes

Additional Information
  • 3rd shift (Su-Th 10:00 pm= 6:00 am)
  • This position is located in Bldg LL in East Peoria
  • Pay is $23.22 hour with an additional $1.00 hr shift differential
  • Relocation assistance is not offered for this position
  • This is a Supplemental position- minimum 40 hours per week with limited benefits available
  • Supplemental employees will receive up to 40 hours of paid time off
