Cardiologists often juggle a demanding clinical schedule with significant administrative tasks, such as documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordinating with insurance providers. Managing these responsibilities can be challenging, especially in busy hospital or group practice settings. What are cardiologists?

Cardiologists are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and conditions of the heart and blood vessels. They manage a range of cardiovascular issues, including heart attacks, arrhythmias, heart failure, and hypertension. Cardiologists conduct tests such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests to assess heart health, and they develop treatment plans that may include lifestyle changes, medications, or procedures. While they do not perform surgeries themselves, they often work closely with cardiac surgeons and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
