Exchange Engineer

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Exchange Engineer for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.

Exchange Engineer Job Details

The Exchange Engineer is responsible for performing system, application and engineering tasks associated with deploying and managing the Exchange environment. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Exchange deployment and administration, as well as prior experience with Exchange Online/Office 365. 

Exchange Engineer Mandatory Skills

REQUIRED SKILLS: 
Minimum 5-7 years high level MS Exchange experience in an enterprise environment 
Ability to integrate MS Exchange with other systems to enable key workflows and business processes 
Extensive knowledge of databases, logs, mail routing and protocol support 
Manage e-mail gateways and policies 
Develop and maintain security standards related to messaging systems and services 
Strong Active Directory skills 
Drive and document processes, procedures, best practices and configurations 
Ability to create custom PowerShell scripts and commands for automation 
Ability to deploy virtual servers and drive virtual configurations using VMware 
Understanding mobile needs and Mobile Device Management 
Participate as key member of technical team in deployment and integration of Exchange technologies and Skype for Business 
Create technical specs, diagrams and documents to satisfy project deliver 
The following skills are preferred: 
MS Exchange 2013 and 2010 experience 
Software development experience a plus 
Experience working in an AGILE methodology 
Understanding of advanced networking is a plus 
EDUCATION: 
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline
