Position Description & Qualifications Serco is seeking an experienced Military Trainer - Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Plannerto support Combatant Command joint exercises. You will join a dynamic team supporting the Joint Staff J-7 Deputy Directorate for Training and Exercises, in Suffolk, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside other professionals committed to enhancing military operational readiness through Collective Joint Training (CJT).

An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. In this role, you will: * Translate higher-level scenario design and Operational Environment (OE) inputs into detailed, executable MSEL injects.

* Utilize the Joint Staff's Joint Training Tool (JTT), a cloud-based, web-enabled digital environment, to develop, manage, and maintain MSEL injects aligned to approved training objectives, commander's intent, and exercise guidance. * Provide instruction and user support on JTT functionality and MSEL development to training audiences and Exercise Control (EXCON) personnel. * Synchronize inject timelines across multiple functional areas (e.g., operations, cyber, logistics, information environment) to ensure integrated scenario execution.

* Support MSEL integration across all phases of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC). * Participate in key planning events and working groups to deliver MSEL updates and products. * Coordinate with functional planners, analysts, and support teams to ensure inject alignment with overall exercise design and objectives.

* Execute assigned MSEL injects during exercise operations as part of EXCON / White Cell activities. * Assist with real-time adjustments to inject timing, sequencing, and delivery under direction to maintain training realism and objectives. To be successful in this role, you will have: * U.S.

Citizenship is required. * An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

* A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in joint operations and planning; or an associate degree with five (5) years of directly related experience; or specialized technical training and certifications relevant to the requirement. * or an Associate's degree in a related field, or no degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant practical experience; alternatively, specialized technical training and certifications directly aligned to the requirement. * Must possess or be able to obtain a valid U.S.

Passport. * The ability to travel within CONUS and OCONUS as required (up to 25%). * The ability to work on-site in Suffolk, Virginia.

* Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in accordance with established standards and timelines. Additional desired experience and skills: * Active U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

* Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting Joint or Service-level planning processes. * Working knowledge of Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) development and management, including proficiency with the Joint Training Tool (JTT). * Demonstrated experience supporting Joint Staff J-7 exercises or training events.
