Job description

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan. Must commit to working onsite at our Ann Arbor office.
Internship Overview:
Join the IT Provisioning team and jumpstart your career by supporting the full lifecycle of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. This is a hands-on role where you will be provisioning and imaging devices, managing asset tracking, and ensuring our team members are set up for success.

Internship Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unbox, and inspect new IT equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)
  • Configure and image devices according to established guidelines
  • Install and configure necessary software applications
  • Prepare and ship equipment to new hires or other departments
  • Update asset tracking systems with accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Document all procedures and activities accurately
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

Key Skills for Success:
We are looking for candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of computer hardware/software, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent attention to detail are essential.
Internship Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related IT support role (or equivalent technical experience) or the completion of 2 years of IT-related college coursework
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software, operating systems (Windows, macOS) experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs
