Job description

This role supports the successful execution of CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) activities on-site by working closely with the Project Manager, field teams, and trade partners. The position plays a key role in ensuring alignment between field execution and project plans while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and coordination. The individual will collaborate across multiple stakeholders to support efficient project delivery within a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Enforce site safety standards and maintain ownership of housekeeping across all assigned areas.
  • Provide direct support to the Project Manager on CSA-specific field coordination activities.
  • Oversee CSA field operations, including laydown checks and verifying field activities align with the Weekly Work Plan (WWP).
  • Ensure inspections and testing are properly scheduled, executed, and successfully passed.
  • Coordinate directly with trades and Area Superintendents to resolve field issues including housekeeping, access constraints, and resource allocation (scaffolding, cranes, and lifts).
  • Support the Project Manager in resolving escalated issues related to safety, scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist in enforcing the project's quality assurance program and coordinate closely with the QCx team.
  • Provide commissioning software support including assigning issues to appropriate trades, logging issues, verifying field closure, and auditing documentation uploads.
  • Schedule and participate in client field permit walks including DSL, Line Break, and Hot Work permits.
  • Conduct MEL reviews and support initial SSM and commissioning software buildout activities.
  • Receive, review, and execute VF QA/QC requests from trade partners.
  • Coordinate, execute, and document Room and Area Readiness/Acceptance walks.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. 
Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of CSA construction processes and field coordination practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills across trades, contractors, and project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve field issues efficiently.
  • Experience working with commissioning or construction management software tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, permitting processes, and site compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Construction or commissioning-related certifications preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
