Your Responsibilities

As a Boise Cascade truck driver, you’ll:

  • Safely deliver and distribute building products to customers.
  • Operate transportation equipment with expertise, including tractor/trailer combinations.
  • Load, unload, and secure cargo with care.
  • Inspect vehicles, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with D.O.T. regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and relay feedback to supervisors.
  • Maintain your truck’s cleanliness and safe operating condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to support loading/unloading as needed.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (or 2 years equivalent work experience).
  • Valid Class A CDL with the ability to operate tractor/trailer combinations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience.
  • Working knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and compliance with Boise Cascade driver qualifications.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flatbed driving experience.
  • Knowledge of building materials and forklift operation.
