The Autism Society of North Carolina is seeking compassionate and dependable
Part-Time Autism Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide support to individuals with autism
in home, community and/or program settings in Fayetteville and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone needing flexibility, making it a great fit for students, educators, or anyone seeking meaningful, flexible part-time work.

What You'll DoAs an ASP, you'll work directly with individuals with autism. Responsibilities include:
- Provide support, supervision, and instruction in home, community, and/or program settings
- Support communication, social skills, and daily living skill development
- Facilitate meaningful community engagement and relationship-building
- Ensure safety and well-always being
- Maintain accurate daily notes reflecting progress toward goals
- Transport participants using your personal vehicle or designated ASNC vehicles (for select group programs)
Schedules & ProgramsTypical Hours May Include: Part-time: Typically,
10-20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.
In-home / CommunityDay ProgramResidentialWe work to
match you with a participant who needs services during the hours you are available.
Matches depend on several factors, including:
- Location and travel distance
- Hours of service the participant requires, and your availability
- Specific support needs
- Staff experience and comfort level
Because every participant's needs are unique, the time it takes to finalize a match may vary based on family response.
Consistent Monday-Friday, shifts typically fall within approximately 9:00AM-5:00PM
Exact hours may vary depending on participants' needs.
Every other weekend hours supporting individuals in our residential group home, located in Fayetteville.
Every Other Saturday & Sunday:4pm-8pm
