Job description

Position: Audio Visual engineer
Location: Boston, MA (5 Days onsite in a week)

Type/Duration: Contract (6-12 months)


 

Experience & Skills

• Years of experience in AV support, IT support, event technology, or a related field

• Hands-on experience with AV systems and general workplace technology

• Understanding of AV fundamentals (signal flow, cabling, system components)

• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, connectivity concepts)

• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred (not required):

• Experience with video conferencing systems, mixers, microphones, PTZ cameras

• Familiarity with Crestron, Q-SYS, digital signage, or AV-over-IP

• AVIXA CTS certification or interest in pursuing Work Environment
