We are expanding our U.S. production team and looking for skilled sewing machine operators who take pride in quality, craftsmanship, and detail.
Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our ballistic garment manufacturing team. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines to assemble high-quality ballistic vests, panels, and protective apparel following strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle, double needle, overlock, bar tack, binding, etc.).
  • Sew and assemble ballistic carriers, tactical vests, protective apparel, and related components.
  • Follow technical specifications, patterns, and production orders accurately.
  • Work with ballistic materials such as aramid fabrics, Cordura, and high-strength textiles.
  • Maintain precision stitching, seam strength, and product consistency.
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects or quality issues.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control teams.
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining high craftsmanship.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience as a sewing machine operator (industrial machines).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technical materials.
  • Ability to follow patterns, technical sheets, and quality guidelines.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to sit/stand for long periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:

  • Experience in ballistic garment manufacturing, tactical gear, uniforms, or heavy-duty textiles.
  • Knowledge of PPE standards or NIJ processes (a plus, not required).
