Job description

Location-onsite at tallahassee, FL
 
(1) Analyzing, developing, modifying, installing, testing, and maintaining operating systems software;
(2) Evaluating vendor supplied software packages and making recommendations to IT management;
(3) Managing Oracle and MS Structured Query Language (SQL) server environments;
(4) Analyzing system logs, identifying potential issues with production application, and handling war room situations;
(5) Providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the overall systems architecture;
(6) Developing and executing test plans to check technical performance of infrastructure, reporting findings, and making recommendations for improvements;
(7) Facilitating the establishment and implementing standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications;
(8) Reviewing, advising, and designing standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs vs. benefits and impact on processes and goals;
(9) Use AI-assisted scripting and tools to automate routine administrative tasks, optimize workflows, and reduce manual intervention across server, network, and cloud environments;
(10) Assisting in the development of and managing an architecture governance;
(11) Providing technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate; and
(12) Tracking industry trends and maintaining knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise’s architecture needs.
 

(1) Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or other related field/equivalent work experience;
(2) A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization;
(3) Proven experience developing strategic system architecture plans;
(4) Extensive experience in system and network creation and development;
(5) Fundamental understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices;
(6) Proven experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving system problems; and
(7) Familiarity and expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure architecture, administration, and security.
(8) Experience with Connect, uFACTS, or similar Unemployment Compensation (UC) system;
(9) Knowledge of Operating systems (Microsoft or Linux);
(10) Relational database experience with oracle, or SQL Server;
(11) Understanding of N-Tier Architecture;
(12) Experience with large infrastructure systems;
(13) Understanding of Agile Development Methodology;
(14) Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 or later;
(15) Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Azure DevOps;
(16) SAP Crystal Reports;
(17) Windows Communication Foundation (WCF);
(18) Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (web services);
(19) IBM FileNet and OnBase; and
(20) Knowledge of AI-driven tools and automation platforms
