Location: Romulus, MI
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs consistently
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Experience with packing and warehouse work preferred
  • Comfortable handling and packing automotive rims
Position Summary

The Warehouse / Packer is responsible for picking and packing orders, staging products for shipment, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role requires heavy lifting, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Handle products weighing up to 65 lbs
  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts (if certified)
  • Use handheld scanners and perform data entry for inventory accuracy
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for quantity and accuracy
  • Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean storage areas
  • Report damaged, outdated, overstocked, or missing inventory
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse closing procedures
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including docks, floors, and work areas
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, packing, or distribution experience
