Amazon, one of the top 100 companies in the United States, has an immediate opening for a IT Equipment Coordinator in our Fulfillment Center (FC). FCs throughout the U.S. handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ship them across the globe each day. The successful IT Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering, delivery, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas. Amazon seeks individuals who are willing to work hard, have fun, and join us in making worldwide history.
Key job responsibilities
Candidate must have a solid understanding of computers and computer related equipment (i.e. printers, scanners, storage devices, monitors, etc.). Must be willing to perform cable management, inventory, and equipment audits routinely.
Responsibilities include allocation and maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center. IT Equipment Coordinators are also responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty. The IT Equipment Coordinator is a member of the larger IT team within the FC and will specifically support the Technicians and Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed. This position reports directly to the IT manager for the fulfillment center.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts
- Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, or asset management
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience using computers and Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 4+ years of Amazon experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
- Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
- Experience in customer service
- Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
- Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
