The ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter is a non-profit organization that provides services to patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and their families. These services include ALS educational information, support groups, case management, professional consultations, equipment loans, children's resources, bereavement program, patient grant program, and staffing of a certified ALS clinic.
Job Description
Care Services Director
The Chapter is seeking to hire a Care Services Director for the Columbus office. This is a 30-40 hour/week position (non-exempt).
In collaboration with the Care Services team, the Care Services Director manages the daily operations of the department, engages in compassionate support services to patients and families who are dealing with ALS, and provides nursing/clinical support at the OhioHealth ALS Clinic (ALSA Certified Treatment Center of Excellence)
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed in the state of Ohio
3-5 years clinical experience
Experience with Case Management and Service Coordination
Ability to use computer effectively including MS Word, MS Excel, email
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
