We are currently seeking a Senior Clinical Account Consultant to work remotely. This is a part-time, independent contractor position with an hourly rate plus weekly stipend.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Clinical Account Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for a large healthcare organization, delivering comprehensive clinical support from initial consultation through evaluation and treatment coordination. This role is responsible for managing complex clinical cases and ensuring the delivery of exceptional, high-quality service to both organizational stakeholders and individual clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for formal referrals to AOH for clinical assessment and treatment.
  • Provide intensive case management from initial consultation through ongoing care coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with case-specific treatment providers to ensure high-quality, client-centered service delivery.
  • Partner with the Managing Director to maintain strong alignment with customer needs and expectations.
  • Participate in and present to key stakeholders during regularly scheduled customer meetings.
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation and clear communication of all case management activities within the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Maintains availability as a primary point of contact, demonstrating prompt responsiveness and quick turnaround for acute cases and new referrals.
  • Provides initial consultations to assess the scope of referrals and ensure alignment among all engaged stakeholders.
  • Manages and coordinates appropriate releases of information for clients and all relevant treatment, assessment, and referral partners.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled case review meetings for active and monitored cases with the referring organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master-level clinician.
  • Fully licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
  • Prior EAP experience managing formal referral and/or fitness-for-duty evaluations; account management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health and substance use assessment and treatment.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Proven comfort engaging with and presenting to senior-level executives.
  • Previous experience consulting with healthcare organizations preferred.
