Job Description Opportunity

Young Mothers, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant Intern to support our team in various administrative tasks. This internship offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to the organization while developing your skills in a virtual work environment.

Intern Job Duties
  • Maintain workflow by studying methods, implementing and developing procedures.

  • Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing changes.

  • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating the preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.

  • Provide information by answering questions and requests.

  • Create and update PowerPoint Slide Presentations, Volunteer Forms, etc.

  • Complete operational requirements by scheduling interviews and assigning administrative projects; expediting work results.

  • Send correspondence to all YMI volunteers to provide consistency amongst the committees.

  • Provide onboarding and offboarding support to the admin team.

  • Assist with training volunteers on operations systems at the monthly All-Hands meeting.

  • Update and maintain the Encore Rewards Program.

  • Other admin duties as assigned.
