Superintendent – Lead Nationwide Automotive and Retail Facility Builds Job Overview
  • Company: Acme Enterprises.

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $85,000 – $115,000+ per year (Based on experience) plus Performance Bonus.

  • Location: MI, IN, IL, and OH (Travel Required).

  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

  • Project Scope: Commercial / Ground Up / High-Speed Tenant Improvements.

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.

The Opportunity

You will serve as the primary field leader, driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial builds for iconic national brands. This role empowers you to manage diverse trades while ensuring elite quality standards for a company that values your individual leadership. You will have the autonomy to direct complex sites with the support of a team-oriented culture that rewards a "take-ownership" mentality.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Direct and influence multiple trades to maintain high-quality project delivery and strict safety standards.

  • Orchestrate complex project schedules for remodels, buildouts, and ground-up construction to meet client deadlines.

  • Execute daily field operations in strict accordance with blueprints, job site documents, and as-built specifications.

  • Coordinate communication between field crews and the home office through detailed daily and weekly reporting.

  • Resolve real-time technical and logistical site issues to prevent project delays and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Manage project closeout processes and documentation to ensure high-speed delivery and transparency.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record of leadership experience specifically within the commercial construction field.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed project drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.

  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital project management tools.

  • Absolute willingness to travel to various project assignments across Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing "Big Box" retail or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) construction projects.

  • Advanced proficiency with Procore software for daily reporting and site document management.

  • Strong background in high-speed tenant improvements and facility remodels.
