Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM(12-hour shift; 2-2-3 schedule)
Pay: $35+/hour
Bonuses: Monthly Production Bonus & Monthly Attendance Bonus Eligible

At Sellars, we're seeking a Lead Machine Operator / Shift Team Lead who brings technical know-how, leadership confidence, and a passion for keeping operations running at their best. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide your team, troubleshoot challenges, and set the standard for safety, quality, and production excellence!
What You'll Do
  • Lead and support the shift production team to achieve daily safety, quality, and output goals
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and adjust a 75-yard-long converting machine with precision and efficiency
  • Provide clear direction and coaching to ensure team members are trained, supported, and performing effectively
  • Monitor product quality and uphold Sellars' standards at every step of the process
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement, modeling the behaviors you expect from your team
  • Assist with equipment setup, roll changes, threading, and mechanical adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Cross-train across team positions to maintain flexibility and coverage

What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of machine operation or production experience, including leadership or team lead responsibilities
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, adjust, and perform basic machine repairs
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills ,able to motivate and mentor others
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 50 ft. and using scissor or articulating lifts
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and reach up to 84 inches
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (2-2-3 schedule), including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
