Job description

Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Duration: 8 Months
Shift: 5AM TO 3PM
100% Onsite
Summary
The Manufacturing Technician supports daily production while contributing to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, and a desire to grow into engineering-level responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform setup, assembly, packaging, prep operations, line clearance, and basic equipment maintenance per approved documentation and QSR requirements.
  • Assist Engineering and Maintenance with troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
  • Complete accurate production and maintenance documentation.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work with Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Quality, and other team members to solve problems and implement improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement (5S, A3s, OEE, standard work) and contribute to safety, quality, delivery, and cost projects.
  • Assist with new equipment installation and validation.
  • Maintain awareness of quality expectations and potential defects related to design, manufacturing, and testing.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the business.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
  • MS Office experience.
  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO, OSHA regulations.
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems (documentation, compliance, inventory control, scheduling).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and results-focused mindset.
