Our flagship platform, MVerifyยฎ, automates mortality verification using a broad network of data sources including
obituaries, state death registries, SSA databases, and proprietary commercial datasets. This allows organizations to
reduce overpayments, prevent fraud, improve compliance, and ensure accurate liability management.
Abacus Intel is seeking a high-performing Account Executive responsible for driving new business growth across
pension plans, unions, TPAs, insurance carriers, and financial institutions. This is a consultative enterprise sales role
focused on helping organizations improve mortality verification, reduce overpayments, enhance compliance, and
modernize participant management processes.
You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while collaborating closely with leadership and Customer
Success to ensure long-term client success.
Responsibilities:
โข Own full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
โข Develop new business opportunities across assigned verticals
โข Conduct discovery meetings, demos, and executive presentations
โข Build strategic relationships with pension administrators and decision-makers
โข Manage pipeline activity within Salesforce
โข Collaborate with leadership on forecasting and territory strategy
โข Support conference attendance, speaking opportunities, and networking events
โข Identify cross-sell opportunities for bundled solutions
Qualifications:
โข Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience
โข Strong consultative and enterprise sales experience
โข Experience with long sales cycles and complex stakeholders
โข Excellent communication and negotiation skills
โข CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
โข Bachelorโs degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
โข Experience selling into pensions, insurance, government, or financial services
โข Experience with SaaS or data-driven service platforms
โข Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships.
Job Type: Full-time, ONSITE Monday to Friday
Travel Requirement: Up to 40% travel required for client meetings, conferences, industry events, and business
development opportunities.
