Support Specialist

Job Description

As a Support Specialist at our Experiential Marketing Agency, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of events and programs by providing essential support to our onsite Production Team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the installation and dismantling of specific display elements, as well as undertaking cleaning, maintenance, loading, and unloading tasks before and after events. Effective communication with the Production team, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism are paramount in this role. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys physical activity, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Support onsite Production Team in the installation and dismantle specific display elements for Events/Programs.
  • Pull assets from the warehouse as per event requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Organizing and maintaining the warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
  • Assist with loading and unloading assets onto trucks or vans for transportation to event locations.
  • Performing pre-event equipment checks to ensure functionality and readiness.
  • Safely secure assets during transit to prevent damage.
  • Collaborate with the production team to assemble and set up displays according to event specifications and timelines.
  • Ensure that all display elements are properly installed and functioning.
  • Provide on-site assistance during events, including troubleshooting and addressing any technical or logistical issues that arise.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, both in the warehouse and during events.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling practices for equipment and materials.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel, prioritizing the well-being of team members and attendees.
  • Perform additional job duties as necessary and relevant.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of Previous experience in event setup, production, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
  • Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
  • Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
  • Valid Driver’s License/Clean Driving Record

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk 100% of shift.
  • Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in fluctuating temperatures.
  • Ability to work under adverse situations and conditions (e.g., dirty, noisy, etc.).
  • Flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
