What are the typical responsibilities and challenges faced by a professional working in the 2PM PST time slot?

Professionals scheduled for the 2PM PST time slot often manage tasks that require collaboration across multiple time zones, particularly with colleagues or clients on the East Coast or internationally. A key challenge is balancing workload efficiency with effective communication, as some team members may be nearing the end of their workday. Additionally, this shift often involves a mix of independent work and late-afternoon meetings, making time management and adaptability crucial. Candidates should be prepared for dynamic scheduling and occasional high-priority tasks as deadlines approach.

What does '2PM PST' mean?

'2PM PST' refers to 2:00 in the afternoon according to Pacific Standard Time, which is the time zone for the west coast of the United States during the non-daylight saving months. PST is 8 hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-8). If you are in a different time zone, you'll need to convert 2PM PST to your local time to ensure you join meetings or events at the correct time. During daylight saving time, the equivalent time zone is usually referred to as PDT (Pacific Daylight Time), so it's important to confirm which is being used.

Job description

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Master's-level professionals to join our Oregon Clinical Cohort. This is a full-time (W-2), fully remote telehealth position designed for clinicians looking to become experts in high-impact group facilitation.

As a Mental Health Group Specialist, you will begin making a difference on day one, working alongside a highly skilled therapy team to deliver psychoeducation, enabling meaningful, real-world change for clients. This role focuses on Group Mastery; you will lead transformative sessions for clients facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges while enjoying the stability of a salaried position and a fixed schedule.

Please Note: This role focuses on psychoeducational and skill building facilitation. If you are registered as a CSWA, such hours may be eligible towards your independent licensure, at the discretion of the Board of Licensed Social Workers.

For Professional Counselor Associates and MFT Associates: While these hours may not currently count toward clinical licensure in Oregon, the position offers a premium salary and a stable career path for Master's-level professionals or QMHPs looking to gain specialized experience in a high-growth clinical environment.
