How to Become a Security Flex Officer

The qualifications you need to become a security flex officer include a high school diploma and the ability to work a flexible schedule. You need to be at least 18 years old, though some companies prefer applicants over 21 years old. Post-secondary education is not required. Flex officers need to be able to work during any shift, including weekends and overnight hours. You learn the skills for this job through on-the-job training, and you may be required to obtain a security guard license.
