You also handle day-to-day tasks such as hiring and training employees, negotiating with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a manager, you usually delegate responsibilities to the restaurant's assistant management team. You may sometimes have other duties that involve market research, promotion, and public relations.

How to Become a Restaurant Managing Partner

The qualifications that you need to become a restaurant managing partner include previous restaurant experience, a business or hospitality degree, and management skills. You must also be able to build relationships with staff, vendors, and customers. You can start on this career path by completing a degree program in hospitality management or business administration. You can also gain experience by working as a salaried manager in a restaurant. Many employers require previous experience, and they may prefer, but not require, a degree.
